Bomba Rice
Matiz’s rice is grown in the rich soils of L’Albufera Park of Valencia, a nationally protected land site, which produces some of the best rice for paella, Spain’s acclaimed national dish. The Paella and the Bomba rice are both short-grain and make the perfect ingredient for paella, arroz negro, and risotto.
While both types of rice have high absorption rates (which allows them to soak up all those rich flavours in your dish) the Bomba absorbs one-third more than the traditional, resulting in extraordinarily plump and flavourful, yet still individual, grains.
