Herbes de Provence
This fragrant herbal blend includes thyme, basil, savoury, fennel and lavender blossoms. Used as a rub, in marinades or in sautés, it complements all meat, poultry and fish dishes. It's wonderful in stews, casseroles, sauces and salad dressings. Sprinkle it on a homemade pizza just as it comes out of the oven or uses it to flavour cheese or cream-based dips and sauces. Rubbing it briskly between your palms releases the aromatic oils and dramatically intensifies the lovely fragrance. Use up to a teaspoon or so per portion. Ingredients: savory, thyme, rosemary, basil, tarragon, organic lavender flowers.
